Fisi has been penalised and relegated to 10th for holding up DC.

Of course that might turn into ninth.

I hope they had some kind of telemetry or something. Still not convinced it was deliberate.

ITV F1 says the stewards found that his entry speed to Rascasse on the last lap was exactly the same as his other laps, but force far in excess as was used all day was applied to the brake pedal, causing it to lock the front wheels. There was no reason found for this amount of force to be applied, and therefor it is concluded that he intentionally stopped the car on that corner.

F**king chancer...

like the stewards know what it's like to drive a car to pole position at Monaco

Sorry, but you can be as cynical as you like - with that 'evidence' you have to give any driver the benefit of the doubt.

I recall years ago at Monaco when qualifying was an hour unlimited by tyres or laps, Senna put his car on pole early on and then proceeded to trawl around slowly baulking everyone for the remainder of the hour, thus keeping his pole intact. Don't remember the stewards taking any action at that event and that was kind of obvious.

Wasn't all the claptrap from the ITV commentators about how there was going to be mayhem at Monaco in qualifying? So why is everyone indignant when something like this happens?

People say F1 is one rule for Ferrari and one for everyone else - they've been proven right. Maybe Schumacher should have crashed instead?

Yeah right - boring championship - boring race.

Massively inconsistent decision. Fisis docked 3 places Schumi docked 21 places.

Total bollocks - If I was Ferrari I'd walk away. - but perhaps thats just what the FIA want. they need BMW, Renault, Honda, Toyota etc to keep the "sport" viable.
The bean counters won't provide cash for failure.

Best thing Ferrari can do now is troll round at the back and take Renault out when they are lapped.
