My latest creation...

15 mm square bar, butt welded and powder coated in RAL 9010. 20 mm x 900 mm polished Carrara marble top with 4 mm radius edges.

For once you had me nodding at one of your posts (I agree with the engine coffee table being a bit daft in the house) but then you post that.... (all IMO of course )

EDIT: Mind you, I have the worst 3 foot artificial Christmas tree in the world so perhaps I should not throw stones

Doesn't really work for me; if one is going to have a glass table it's best not to shove old bits of junk underneath as they can be seen...

Or is the engine block a part of the design?

the nos S800 engine block cost someone £400+ 6/7 years ago. i have the reciept that came with it. it is a super rare item that i got when i purchased my S800 so i though i'd better look after it rather than stick it in a cupboard or shed.
