Default F20C coffee table?

The doris has given me free reign to buy a coffee table, so obviously I started looking at F1 wheels, and V12 engine type ones

But looking at them, I think an F20 would make a nice ornament. Maybe an 09 one

Anyone tried this?

Plus it's offset slightly, so your coffee would end up on the floor.

Imagine the carpet indentations from such a heavy lump, or bend on your wooden floor. Great idea though, I was gonna collect that bottom-end off Gary and make a coffee table out of it, but there's no room in the house for it, just the conservatory. It would look a bit unsightly I guess when we have all the kids crap in there!

If you took the sump off and crank out it would sit flat, plus the top of the block where the head sits would balance the glass nicely. Plus, that would rid it of quite a lot of weight. Just depends if you wanted pistons in it.

I considered this but the wife says we have enough car and bike bits in the house already...

I have a BBS F1 wheel from a 2003/2004 BAR car. It's never been cleaned, and still has the tyre sludge on the inside of the wheel for authenticity. Has a nice round glass top. Looks awesome

Thought about selling it but no idea what its worth. Had quotes from 100's to 1000's.

Anyway... carpet indents!? dusting!? What a bunch of girls!
