Sounds like a lot of trouble given the cost.

Having to do a two hour reset after struggling over a speed bump doesn't sound ideal.

Is that normal on a Ferrari or is this an isolated issue Graham?

it's the kind of issue that's common post 360

just a Ferrari-sized version of what you get with most moderns now

too many sensors and FREDs throwing up all manner of codes and warnings

F430 values are solid now that people have realised the price gap between them and a 458 is enormous (if you can get a 458) - that hasn't traditionally been the case between successive models

There are indeed a lot of 430's compared to other models (except the 360 which is also in relatively large numbers, possibly more so). Ferrari haven't released figures on the 430. I went to an event where there were 40-odd Ferraris recently. Mine was the only black one!

I'm finding myself drawn to a 16M but I'm worried the suspension may be too much?
How's the storage situation for a weeks touring?
The car has only been on Arran twice - and doesn't enjoy it. It takes 30 minutes to drive from my work to my house on Arran, in my pick up. In the Ferrari it takes 45 mins, purely because of the roads. I realise that many on S2Ki may not know I have bought property in Glasgow. The car lives at my flat in the city (underground, with a whopping great CCTV camera above it and with secure entry. It only comes to Arran for the odd event, and in good weather. Arran is no place for a car like this.

It's not unusual in any supercar. As Gad says, it's almost expected and nothing really to worry about. However, I don't like flashy lights so I reset it when I know the car won't be used for two hours. Usually overnight.

I'm more than happy that the car has not depreciated at all. I would imagine I will put 6000 miles a year on it, though. If this is the case I will either part-ex it for a newer one in 18 months or so; or just keep it.

This was Glasgow on Saturday. :

Is it vinyl wrapped or is the carbon just draped over it?

It is "immaculate" though....
