damn, just been beat by an ST!.
2006 focus ST - 225 bhp, and 236 lb ft.

caught me unawares at red lights - i knew it was a focus, but didnt think he was on for a race! if so, i'd of launched from 3k or so.

he pulled away pretty sharpish 2car lengths infront. when vtec kicked in and was pretty even from then on. just started to catch up but i backed off.
before anyone says - no it wasnt the orange ST - was the boring blue one. hence why i thought it was just a normal focus and didnt give it as much as i should of.


so, focus 1 - 0 s2000

 

I got humped by a pikey in an old Volvo S70 or something. Boged it down off the lights and he was away

 

I got beat by a 660+ hp skyline R34 the other month ..

 

I get beat by almost everything off the line

I just cannot be bothered as my clutch is getting on, I just blast past the Volvos and Datsuns when I am good and ready.

Now give me a hot pursuit chase on an empty road though!

 

I was on my private stretch of road and was giving a scooby sti a good run for his money, he pulled away at first then i managed to close the gap

 

I don't care what blasts past me or beats me off the line.... I still have the better car, It's the driver that's letting it down
