I don't recall Hamilton being under investigation for any of the moves during the last GP.

It'd be nice to see your boy pull off some moves like that.

No chance, at least not without a collision!

There were no stewards investigations at the German GP. First race in a long time where the stewards have been sensible!

Although I love McLaren, it is hardly surprising that Hamilton was able to overtake Alonso on the 2nd corner as Hamilton had warm tyres that he knew against Alonso who had just come out of the pits on coldish tyres which were new to him. Still, that said, it was a cracking overtake given Webber could not pull off the same move earlier.

And the move by Hamilton on Webber on the inside to turn 1 was pure speed advantage and a excellent judgement of braking distances, just pure racing talent that one. I didn't see anything wrong with that at all. It was an awesome, brave overtake that one.

I think Hamilton had a magnificent race. Unlike Vettel who had a pretty shit poor weekend, but then what does it matter when you are top of the leader board to have 1 shit weekend over the course of a season.

Exactly. Button's mid season form in his championship winning year springs to mind.

What i'm saying is that if someone is infront (Webber) and the you are on the inside(Hamilton) then you need to allow space for the other car - you can't just run them off the road.

Caution on the sound, it is very loud!

The overtake was done well before Turn 1. So he was not really barging up the inside. If that is the overtake you were referring to?

That's the one that I immediately thought of when it was first mentioned. I don't recall any other wheel to wheel action between the two.

If that's not allowed then all we'd be left with is the "Fernando is faster than you" type 'overtakes'.

There was the other incident where Webber was on the outside at turn 2 and Hamilton pushed Webber onto the astroturf.

Singapore a year ago, but the other way around?

I think at the end of the day, racing incidents happen and to be honest, the German GP was a good clean race that should be applauded.
