Sky are launching a dedicated F1 channel. If you're a Sky customer it's free if you have Sky Sports 1 + 2. I can't help thinking it's not going to be available to Virgin Media customers from day one. Or if it is, how much it will cost on its own as I have zero interest in having other sky sports channels.

I can look on the coverage changes as being quite positive, if they're not covering it live then they'll have a 2 hour show on the Sunday evening. That suits me as I'm always out from early morning on a Sunday and then get home try to watch the race and usually fall asleep. If I haven't passed out on the sofa then I'll watch it but whichever way I've lost quite a few daylight hours on a Sunday afternoon.

I'm not surprised that the beeb got those live races, The deal was always that they had first, last, Monaco, Belgium and British. After that Sky had the pick of which ones they would have exclusive coverage of, hardly a surprise.

Jury is still out on whether I'm going to upgrade my sky package but more than likely I'll stay with free to air.

According to Yahoo News, Brundle will be going to Sky along with David Croft.

Though I wonder if "Croft" is actually "Coulthard", because they've made a good partnership.

If sky took the whole beeb team minus EJ then I'd consider it.

However I'll probably spend the extra cash on actually going to see a race.

Which is the best race to go and be a spectator at? Preferably not Silverstone as I'd like it to be warm and sunny.

I generally find spectating motorsport events to be disappointing, but i'd aim for somewhere which is a nice location first, like Monaco or one of the other European ones.

Yeah, a return this year was never on really was it, that was a very nasty accident Robert suffered. I will be surprised if we see him again in a F1 race, period. Hope I am wrong
Then i read he is in talks with Ferrari as Massa's replacement driver for 2013.

i thought he was sorting out a plumbing job.

Bloomin' heck. Nico, in his car with his helmet on and with his Movember moustache, looked just like his Dad ...

Quick prediction for tomorrow is.........Rain, Vettel has a storming start, Webber duffs it and Hamilton gains a place into the first corner but takes himself and Vettel out in a mad dive leaving Jenson to stroll away for the win on a drying track.?

Cheap seats at Monaco, around £900 each.

Spa would be good if you got the right location to spectate, but you would probably have more chance of sunshine at the British GP
