... you should offer him a few lessons I am sure he could learn a lot from your vast wealth of experience
I'm a big Button fan and will freely admit that Button isn't probably as quick as Hamilton over one lap (or even multiple laps) unless the car is absolutely perfect for him.
But this year Button is much more of a complete package than Hamilton. His points tally proves it, as does every other measure other than ultimate qualifying pace.
Hamilton needs to translate that speed into race finishes in podium position, something he just hasn't done enough of this year. Whereas Button has.

Hamilton > Button it's simple, the reality is you don't like that situation and anyone else who doesn't like that reality will support your argument. Usually and quite often these people are jealous wannabe haters blinded by their hatred of Hamilton.
I've only noticed hamilton hating from UltraNexus, certainly not from MB.
Lower has a bad reputation on here?
A little paranoia creeping in methinks.

I'm not at all sure what you think i'm trying to do, but i'm pleased to have achieved notoriety

Have you actually read your own posts in the context of what i've posted? The other contributors to this thread are clearly not Hamilton haters, and were being fairly objective in their views. You just responded by going on the attack which kills any proper, lively discussion.
Button has been the only driver this year to be able to hold onto Vettel and challenge him into making mistakes. The ONLY driver. I think that says a lot, to be honest.
Hamilton will come back stronger next year when his head is in the right place and the 2012 car proves to be amazing as McLaren have been working on it since mid-season to beat RBR. Plus they have a good chassis from the 2011 car to take forward. I think next season will be much tighter between McLaren and RBR as they both now know the tyres, DRS and KERS system.
I also think Team Lotus/Caterham will make a jump up as their cars get KERS. I fully expect Caterham to be in the mid pack next season. Or I bloody well hope so.
I agree with the general consensus on here, in raw talent, Lewis has it over Button, but based on this season's performance, Button is miles ahead of Hamilton. In fact most drivers on the grid are ahead of Hamilton, he has just not been it. Confirmation of his split with his girlfriend is welcome news though, at least there is somewhat of a reason!

1. Hamilton
2. Teflonso
3. Vettel
4. Button
5. Rosberg
Lotus will be nowhere much different placing wise next year I am sorry to say, F1 is all about money, buying the best drivers, the best designers etc, none of the 'mid field' teams as you call them will make any significant in roads to the top teams next year, that will be my prediction. 3,4 and 5 on my drivers list could fluctuate up and down between each other at any given time
Even Alonso agrees with me

But the 30-year-old still believes Hamilton, who has endured a difficult year on and off the track, is the man with the most raw talent.
"Hamilton did not have a super season this year, who knows whether it was due to the Pirelli tyres or the fact that with blown diffusers now driving has changed," he explained.
"On top of that, [Hamilton's team-mate Jenson] Button is having a great year. All of this concurred to give the impression that his season hasn't been so good.
"But let's consider India, when he took second place in qualifying. It's like soccer: if Real Madrid or Barcelona are not performing particularly well on a given season, that does not mean that they're not top league.
"In fact, at the next winter testing he [Hamilton] will be the only one I'll be watching closely. The other guys can win if they've got the best car; he's the one who's able to clinch a championship with a car that's not the best."
