I know just what you mean. He's obviously had the media training; he gives exactly the right length answers to whatever the question is without ever saying anything of any consequence. He'd make a good politician when he's finished with F1.

lol I completely agree with the politician part. That is why I am such a big fan of Mark Webber... He has no problem saying whats on his mind even if it is not "correct".

It does get a bit boring with every driver saying the same thing. I was impressed that Perez came out with his attack of Maldonado at Silverstone. He also moaned about Grosjean after Spa. However the danger is he turns into a moaner much like Rosberg did in his first full F1 season.

It's nice when there are some personalities in the sport.

I wish I had a pound every time a driver said "The team did a fantastic job today"

You would be a very rich man indeed haha. I think every driver says that besides Danica Patrick lol (I despise her BTW)

You'll hardly ever hear a driver say "I".

these are people who are exceptionally good at one thing in driving

it would be surprising to me if they also happened to be expert communicators

age helps I suppose but only up to a point

Mansell being a case in point

he'll be a dour, humourless, monosyllabic bore until the day he dies

notwithstanding outstanding driving ability and cajones

I agree with all that you wrote Jamie, particularly the part about Vettel .... and also I think this race should be off the calendar.
So when Vettel wins it is either luck or down to cheating?

You really do have a hate thing going.
If you think there was ever going to be a different winner than Hamilton had his car not broken down you are deluded, Hamilton was cruising and maintaining the gap, Vettle was lucky to win this race.
