I agree, he was lucky to come third in qualifying and even luckier to pull out a gap on JB during the race and so lucky to be 2nd in the standings.
Of course he is a crap driver in a team of cheats, which explains it his success.

Hamilton may well have won if his car had held up, but it didn't and he didn't.

It's nice when there are some personalities in the sport.
Lets hear it for Kimi!!!!
Just a shame his personality doesn't come over very well when he opens his mouth. Nice to hear he still enjoys the champagne and ladies

Just back from the Grand Prix. Amazing place to see the race, they make a real show of it - loads of bands playing, great food at the circuit and everyone is so friendly.

The night race spectacle is amazing, we had tickets across the bay for Saturday which was a surreal place to watch racing, but not the best place to see the cars, fortunately we were at the bext spot for racing on the Sunday - Turn 1

Got the plane back with the Murissia boss yesterday, a really nice guy and interesting to talk to. They were really happpy to have overtaken Caterham, the financial rewards for this if they keep it to the end of the season are incredible.

I'll put some pics up when I wake up

Sounds like my thoughts from last year. The experience is amazing, but not the best circuit to spectate from. I was at T1 / T2 at the end of the main straight.

Absolutely. Not sure I'd go back, but the whole experience was probably one of the best I've had for visiting a race.

The place is too flat with too many large buildings to see much of the track from anywhere really. There are some great spots where you can get really close though.

Almost recovered from the drinks prices now

And Perez to McLaren, which I think will be interesting.

He must have some faith that Merc will give him a championship winning car next year.

Will Jensen become top dog at McLaren though. ?

Time will tell, but from the outside i'd say Hamilton has made a petty mistake. From his point of view, a few bad tactic decisions and a few dodgy pit stops have sent him in the huff. His drive to win might have taken over common sense here. But then Ross Brawn is a canny operator. Not sure on their reliability at the moment though (Shumacher mistakes aside!)
