As suggested above, there is only one pit crew, the some blokes service both cars.

Sky for me as well (though I often record the bbc coverage to watch later). Brundle's move to Sky made me do something I never thought I'd do - put money in Murdoch's pocket.

Disappointed JB didn't make it to the podium, but I think he wrung every ounce of performance out of the car today.

Vettel passed Alonso right in front of us. Highlight of the day. Its absolutely undescribable the noise from the crowd at a British winner at Silverstone. What a day to introduce my nephew to live F1 :-)

Looking forward to watching the full coverage tonight.

I suspect Massa would have been on the podium, which is a shame.

I heard it different. I heard it as 'i'm worried about the pitstops, lets make the next one a better one'.

There was speculation from the BBC team that Hamilton wasn't going to stop again and it was a radio bluff.

As an aside, did anyone else notice the swathes of empty seats at yesterdays race?

Woodcote was pretty packed but looked like a lot of room at Luffield left.
It was down on 2011 and 2012 according to the press.

Anything to do with the ticket price maybe ?

And do they really expect people to pay £6 for a lanyard with a plastic wallet at the end. Sadly people do, I saw it happen. :-(

Yes, although there were apparently 120,000 people there. I guess the new track layout has meant an increased capacity, but that's tempered by the extortionate ticket prices.

They've removed lots of interesting stuff from the free Live Timing web page as well (just coloured dots rather than sector times), as well as the number of pitstops made. All that's now in the phone and tablet apps which you have to pay for. The money grubbing continues...

Amazing.

I remember not so long ago, you couldn't get a grandstand seat for love nor money months before the race.

I just checked and for 2015 it's £155 just to get in on Sunday, and up to £340 for a grandstand seat.
