It's a funny crime. The trophies certainly don't have a monetary value worth the crime.

I couldn't imagine any genuine fans being willing to perpetrate the crime.

So rationally that leaves Vettel? Did he have a similar arrangement to Hamilton at McLaren where he didn't get to keep his trophies?

Great news that McLaren finally seem to have seen sense!

I think Jenson will keep Fred pretty honest. Let's just hope that Honda can get their act together sooner rather than later.

Yaay! Though to be honest, if it'd been my decision I would have gone for Magnussen.

I hope the BBC have got this right as they haven't actually made the announcement yet.

I sincerely hope this turns out to be true. I've been a Button fan for a long time.

Whilst he is not the fastest qualifier he races well. He held his own against Hamilton and i will be very interested to see how he performs against Alonso. Button clearly likes to challenge himself, hence his move to Maclaren to drive against Hamilton. I'm sure he'll relish the challenge of Alonso.

If reports are to believed Button's only got a 1 year contract. The media are saying he's late in his career, but he's only 1 year older than Alonso!

Really? Magnussen has age on his side but he's not showed any other flashes of brilliance. He's certainly not a Riccardo, Bottas or Kvyat and has been penalised a number of times this year for bad/over aggressive driving. Nor has he shown the raw speed that would make you want to try and train the bad driving out of him.

If you take Button out of the equation for the second seat, there are much better drivers out there that would want a Maclaren seat than Magnussen.

I think in terms of developing a new car/engine package I think Jenson is the much better option. Kevin had a decent season in 2014, and is one for the future, but right now Jenson and Alonso do look the better bet.

Fingers crossed the BBC's report is correct.
