So what's the issue? Implement your contingency plans.

Rich's rantings were rather unfounded as he hadn't taken the time to understand the context of the comments.

What question was asked and of whom?

It is pretty clear from the context of the quotes that he was answering a question put to him.

" However, Motorsport UK chairman David Richards claimed last month that a no-deal Brexit could force teams to relocate from the UK.
Asked by Autosport about the legitimacy of that threat and if it is something Mercedes has considered, Wolff said: "We have a fantastic access to talent in the UK today and what [prominent technology company location] Silicon Valley is in the US, Formula 1 is in the UK.
"And at the moment there is a risk whether the UK can stay as competitive as a location as it is today, and we would very much hope that it stays like this."
So Richards and Wolff have correctly identified that negative impacts are only possible, which is of course the case with all risks
It's a shame but unsurprising that they weren't asked about any of the potential upsides
Still, it's good that they have contingency plans in place
Hopefully they are good as Carney's, which apparently saved us from George Osborne's dire predictions
Rich can speak for himself but if he's anything like me he will be bored by the endlessly negative narrative

I'd second that. It will be an interesting few years for F1 as petrol cars are increasing demonised and electric gains traction. If the gossip is to be believed the new owners aren't getting on too well with the teams so we may be seeing the beginning of the end.
