I do hope Renault don't decide to pull-the-plug on the Twizzy...

It'd be a shame if they did - we need more French cars with names like John Cleese playing a Norman.

The new Reno Youuuu empty-headed lot of second-hand electric donkey-bottom biteurs....

"But Renault has a few tricks up its sleeve and will launch an array of new models – and the new Dacia budget brand - in the UK in 2012 to broaden the range:"

Indeed; the mid-market teir 4 brands are being attacked from better-quality teir 5s; Kiaundai, Dacia et al. That's why FIAT, Opel et al are finished.

The ptetentious continue to buy their teir 2 Audis & crap whilst the very rich buy teir 1 luxury brands.

In effect, The mangy old fox is being replaced here by Infiniti - using M-B planks.

Renault's media announcement - I can understand some of the models but dropping the Laguna and Espace models seems a little odd.

Press release here:

less models for sale in the UK market

Might be of interest to some.... although I guess not many!

No one buys overpriced, flaky french crap in a recession... thats the hard truth.

Still, the used market will have plenty of unreliable french tin for circa £200 upwards
