Most Elise's which are unservo'd apparently need a firmer foot than most to brake, but I found the 160 I was racing against the most very impressive indeed. Brake temp is important in Elise's though, I think. Mine don't work too well until I've put a good heat cycle on them.
get some Pagid pads and braided lines. It'll stop you dead the first time you touch them!

bit dusty though...

Oh yes.

Wash the car - looks lovely.
Drive it for maybe 10 minutes - wheels look like shit...

I suppose that's the price you pay for being able to stop on a 2p without having to heat-cycle the brakes.

you what Col?

it was feckin embarrasing (as it should be)

the Enzo went from 70-140 (the comparison test) in under ten seconds

the Lotus didn't errrrr get to 140

quite what the point was, I don't know

when they got to an interview with Colin 'successful personality bypass' Macrae

I switched channels

Out of interest Gaz, does your stereo sound shit too?
Yep, sounds very weak (i.e. no bass), and is prone to cutting out in isolated areas. Pretty much the kind of places you'd take such a car tend not to have DAB reception.

Shows how much they know, as the top speed is only 127 for an S!

That show really is sh*t.
