Default FWD tech question

I've got a Pug 106 beater. Over the last couple of days, a clicking noise has started coming from the off side front wheel once everything has warmed up when accelerating (a relative term in a 1.5 diesel) and turning left.

This has now developed into steering wheel wobble and what feels like torque steer.

Does this sound like a CV or drive shaft failure? Opinions from the technically minded welcomed?...........

Cheers.

Sounds exactly like the cv joint is failing.

I'll go for outer.

Inner CV joints tend to fail less as they have to cope with less angle

It may equally have messed up the wheelbearing too.

Stop driving it like that; losing a front wheel results in terminal understeer, or worse.

Pug 106 drive shaft is maybe an hour or two's job, depending on how shagged it is...
