Default Ginetta G40

Story here: http://www.autocar.co.uk/CarReviews/...-G40-R/258522/

Now you can bolt a set of ITBs onto a Duratec and get 210bhp.

210bhp, no FREDs, RWD, smart looks and 840kg.

What's not to like?!

If i had 30k spare ... i'd have one. It looks like a revised S2000 from the front, a Z4M frm the side and an Elise from the rear!

I'm a huge fan of these little ginettas. They're an absolute hoot to watch during the support races for GT / BTCC - I should imagine even more of a hoot to be driving in those races.

Road going version - goodest of luck to them!

I do hope it leads to them doing a road going G55...

Keep up with a Clio cup in a straight line??

With that power to weight I'd want more than that!

I approve of the clean lines on the nose, and it is a nice looking car. Although it's normally the interiors that let small volume car manufacturers down

Saying it can match a Clio cup in a straight line doesn't fill me with much hope for it as a performance car, however you'd like to think it would monster it in the bends at least.

not that i'd likely see a spare £30k to blow on a car, but if i did, a Ginetta would be high on my list. i've liked them since i first saw them on the track...

Stick an F20C in it

Seriously - 250bhp in that car would just about be perfect.
