Now you can bolt a set of ITBs onto a Duratec and get 210bhp.

210bhp, no FREDs, RWD, smart looks and 840kg.

What's not to like?!
You.

Banging on about kit cars.

You are worse than these bellends and thier BMWs.

Well, I have no more Honda's to bang on about

Don't worry Steve, there is a drive of the Westy with your name on it - you can see what i'm banging on about then....or perhaps driving a comfy saloon car has turned you soft....

That's the problem with Caterfields etc. As a pure driving experience a normal car just doesn't come close and you end up totally spoilt.

The first time i drove a caterham on track was the last time i took my S2000 on a track day.

Hmm, I found my own rewards of driving tintops. But yes, nothing compares to the physicallity of operating a Caterfield.

Rich - when is the Britcar? I'd come down and be your fanclub

I used to ride bikes, but I still think a blast in that would scare the hell out of me.
Lets do it

Also, reading the article, they say ON PAPER it would just keep up with a clio. They neglect to mention the fact it weighs half the amount in this calculation

Considering enquiring about testing/purchasing one of these next year. Lightweight, FR layout, looks awesome (IMO), club racer style track toy.

Just wondered what other peoples thoughts/experiences with them are like?

£30k is a little much really.

If the engine had another 50bhp, it'd be in the hunt.

I'll still have one, just won't buy it new.
