What isn't, these days?

Unless it's a truly specialist car.

I still think somene should set up an independent dealership called the "STi Clinic." Chav trade guaranteed!

A diesel version of the car would nail it.

There is a Scooby Clinic Nick! Good bunch of guys.

Im not convinced by the service intervals - I think it would be unwise not to at least do the oil and filter (even if yourself) at 4500 miles. If you think the S is hard on oil - a turbo application is harsher I would argue

Still - I would never use a main dealer with a scoob, unless it was under warranty.

The EVO's still have a short service interval, mainly for the AYC.

Just been to look at it....

It's very nice, love the colour and the interior is nuch better than the old shape ones I've had in the past.

Power delivery is as expected, fantastic and explosive, couldn't chuck it around too much on the test though.

As it's the PPP model it had the uprated exhaust, so sound of the burble was there - although no way chav-loud.

Cause I'm so used to the S new it kinda felt like I was sitting on it rather than in it, and it seems to run out of chuff way too early (would be nice to take it to 9k)!!

All in all a great car, no in a serious dilema if I should go for it or not.

I do love the S, but with as there's 3 in the family I never get to take it out with the Mr's.

Need to make my mind up tomorrow.

AHHHH!!!

Losing top end grunt is common to these cars - you can make one seriously quick with an Ecutek remap (which is essentially what the PPP is anyway) but it has higher boost targets and adjusts fuelling to suit.

If you decat as well (warranty issue) you can be looking at upto 40 bhp with the remap and pulls all the way to the redline
