Actually, some loon in a new-shape Priapism (I don't think it was A Karenina) came tearing up behind me & undertook round a roundabout. I was turning right, in the Prelude, which isn't exactly slow. Excellent!

I have a new-found respect for the cars, now that some people are trying to destroy the prissy, more-sanctinious-than-thou image they originally gained. They were like the new Volvo 343 or MiniMetro; always in the f ucking way.

I wanna see a riced one at the Ace Cafe; all Wings West & shit. Lose that braincell-donor Hollywood Star quality once & for all.
Here's some to whet your appetite

Thanks, Simon!

They're not really atrocious enough & the car really needs 22" wheels to get the slammed look right. Only Wings West or Vileside can really get it wrong enough.

NOS bottles are a must, Notts. Use the batteries to power the truly BOOOOMIN sound system!

Innit.

Actually, running the car on just the electric motor will do wonders for stereo sound quality...

Just for soulcrew...

More or less hit 15k miles.

One service, costing £140.

One unscheduled visit to the dealer to have the tortuous reverse Beep disabled.

Average consumption over the 15k miles is 57.86 mpg.

No squeaks,. Nothing fallen off. Everything works as it ought. Tyres look as though they've another 20K miles left in them.

Perfect commuter module.

On that basis. I would save around £1k a year on fuel. Maybe also £1k a year on servicing costs.

Would I be right in thinking the car was ~ £20k?

So that would be 8 years to get my money back assuming a PXed my ATR/ITR. Still not worth it for me

Mine was £24K IIRC; you could always go for the £20K version which doesn't sacrifice much...

... or spend £26K on the limited edition, stealth-fighter 'Prius 10':
