That is a bloody nice car. I am really tempted now to make the change.

Methinks a Jockmeet is in order to see how it handles the full 200 miles.

Next weekend perhaps, you up for it?

Nice one mate.

I am back from test driving an identical car except for the colour of the alloys. It is a very very good car. I find it a little difficult to believe you were destroying a Caterham but then it does depend on the spec of the Cat 7 I guess.

I also tried the Exige S - this is a monster of a car but the fun factor, the main thing I am looking for in a car wasn't there asmuch as it was in the Elise R.

Jo will no doubt give her write up but congrats on the purchase, the colour in the flesh is awesome, definitely the best (ermm..... still thinking of the metallic white) and I loved the raw nature of it.

I'm actually just after checking the Caterham website before I came on here. There is a k-series engined one with 0-60 in 5.3 and I reckon that's probably the spec of the one we raced. The quicker one has 200bhp and does 60 in 3.7 so it definitely wasn't one of those!

I saw an Exige S in the showroom this morning when I picked up mine, and the intercooler for the S/C is enormous! I can't imagine driving the car with even more power, but after a longer spell in it, reckon 240bhp would still work quite well in it, so long as there it was progressive.
