Not yet, but when I drove out of my driveway and up the street I heard an awful rattling and thought "oh f**k here we go already". I stopped at the post office, posted some mail and jumped back in - there was that rattle again. After a few seconds I realise I haven't closed the passenger door properly after taking the roof off!

Mark can you explain why that is the case? Not doubting just unknowledgeable, or should I ask IanL?

Same engine I had in my Celica T-Sport......had a really brutal kick at 6,200rpm. Nice one!

The Elise (and Exige) just don't have a tendency to spin their power away, due mainly to the engine being over the back wheels and therefore keeping them down on the tarmac more effectively I guess.

A LSD is a solution to a problem, not a 'must have'. If the problem doesn't exist, the solution is not required.

Along with many other 'tuning' parts, LSDs seem to have become essential kit for many people when looking at cars, even when they're not required. I blame Gran Turismo
