Is the UK spec really that much better?

Or is it such that it has more 'leathery' seats, different sat nav and UK spec suspension?

I don't know, but my guess is it's 99% the exact same car.
You have to be right.

Marketing bs.

Ok so someone offers you either a UK car or JDM, which do you take?

I think it's worth reading and hearing about the differences.

I don't doubt it would be crucial to read the differences if you were buying.

Chances are most would pick the UK one anyway - ease and perception of less risk.

Well, the ADP suspension's supposed to make the FD CTR useable on UK roads, so there's no reason to suppose the tuning isn't useful.

I think Nissan's balls-up over the servicing costs may hit residuals, at least until the situation is clarified.

The warranty is the big difference here.

Does it matter how it's done if it's more power?

Prices aren't that different between UK and JDM looking on Pistonheads.

The one in the top link is unusually cheap it seems.

A UK R34 GTR in good condition will still fetch

Well, the GTR certainly had Super HICAS.

I remember it causing issues based on the conversion of the imports from Km/h to MPH - the car would behave all tail happy because it thought it was going slower than it actually was.

It would.

Maybe it was only the Spec V or something that lost it to save mass? There is certainly less requirement for 4WS with 4WD, but both would be nice.

Even better with Honda's manoeuvre function, but it seems one cannot have everything.
