good idea that.
wondering now if i can persaude my perpetually broke sister that allowing me to insure her old banger for the year in my name with her as a named driver would be in her interests?

When I left company car land (with hypothetical max NCB and one of these nonsense letters) broker found me 40% - but that was 5 years ago - things move on.

I can't use any names here but.....
A friend of mine, living abroad, had his 8 years NCB transfered onto a car that was shortly due to be scrapped.
The insurance company, once the car is insured, will never ask for proof that the car is still road worthy etc. unless you claim.
His insurance costs something like 70 quid a year. Well worth it for keeping 60% NCB.

but don't tell anyone I told you that
