Lewis Hamilton. modest as ever.

Seems we Brits like our sportsmen to be humble and not to act 'better' than us, even when clearly they are.
For what it's worth, watching Hamilton race is the only thing I find interesting about current F1.

If the quote given is accurate, it seems pretty clear Hamilton was claiming to be more knowledgeable about F1 matters than Ferrari. I expect he was referring to the current Ferrari outfit rather than the entire 80 year period of being the most iconic and successful racing team in the world taken as a whole, but either way, pretty cockish and laughable to say the least.
As for the fact that someone who is successful and competitive has to be arrogant by their nature, I respectfully disagree. Arrogance is an outstated form of confidence (or over-confidence), and that is certainly not present in all F1 racers. DC and Alonso, yes, others, certainly not, or at least much less so.
In a slightly different sport, V. Rossi is someone who has immense natural talent, and is successful on a historical level, despite his relative youth. His success is all the more so for his proven ability and willingness to race inferior machinery, develop it, and make it championship winning. There is nevertheless, considerably less outspoken arrogance in the boy than in Hamilton's case. IMHO F1 and the cash involved has inflated and all ready bulging head, and that is something teh British public do not generally warm to. He would make more friends through a little humility now and then (though maybe bag less pussycat dolls
).

I am not going to look up any stats, but for those who seem to have F1 stats at their finger tips, has anyone else ever made such an impressive start in F1? Say what you like - 23 is young. If I had a penny for every 23 yr old git I wanted to slap in the face I would be posting these thoughts on the Bugatti Veyron site

(for those who look up the stats, yes, I know
)So, Fangio then won in his second season, followed by his 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. ie he won the title 5 times in his first eight seasons (for 4 manufacturers).
That's an impressive start.

hamiltons cock is usually inside the smart one out of the pussycat dolls.
But you can bet that Ron and Anthony will be in there timing him so he doesn't get too excited/tired for the next GP
