Can I read between the lines there and assume you think the yellow is, shall we say: too bold?? Don't think it will sell well in the future??

I think the bold colours suit the car best (there is more than one yellow I think), but each to his own.

I wasn't too keen on the shade of yellow of that one which I have seen on their website, but it may be (and I suspect is) much better looking in the flesh. Spec etc is good also.

Glad you liked it - might try and get a more extensive "test" of one tomorrow, weather permitting

I do like the Evora. The prices were a touch high last time I looked and the boss insisted practical counted. Plus I have always wanted a v8.... Anyway, back o/t there was a beeb drama about dementia/Alzheimer's and an Ev featured, it stole the show for me. Looked every inch a supercar

I love it, Rev! I'm too conservative to buy yellow but it does look the bollocks. I think my point is, that some colours are harder to sell on, and a dealer will know this come px or selling time, so make sure you get a good price. I think maybe yellow isn't one of those colours which would affect an Evora, but would on a run of the mill car.

You don't need to have dementia to buy a Lotus...

Totally disagree on the looks and build!

As i'm sure the other Ex Lotus owners on here will testify too im sure.

It's not a car which photographs well, but a stunner in the flesh or on the road imo. It's also a car you buy primarily for the way it feels. Drivers car, not posing machine.

The S never looked quite right to me. The Evora looks mostly better apart from the fact it has a bit of a guppy mouth.

However I've never bought a car on looks. It's ALL about how it drives. And I'd like to think that everyone else on the board is of the same opinion. But I suppose variety is the spice of life.
