Try Eurocarparts Pete - standard pads £30 a pair.
I'm afraid I don't trust that outfit at all

Too many pattern parts for my liking/in my past experience

I will only fit oem badged parts to my car - with receipts to back it up

Whether that makes a difference come resale time - we shall see

Regardless of that, I have no question marks in my mind with regard to quality/fit/etc

I've had mine for over a year now and have only just covered 4,000 miles with 3 lights still shown on the indicator.

That said, I had to pay £800 for a new clutch and £200 for a new parking sensor (fitted) during the year.

So whoever said allow £1,000 to £1,500 per annum was pretty much spot on.

I'm driving the car more now as my 2 year old son "loves daddy car" because "daddy car fast brrmmm brrmmm".

Good lad

Even if it is an old timer M5 - It's an M5.
I would still use OEM parts.

I usually abandon main dealer servicing when a car gets to about six years old

but that's for bangers

I'm happy that the main dealer is still very familiar with my car and will do a better job or equal to that of an independent

I also appreciate some people may be in a different situation with regard to their local dealers

My experience is that the independent works out of an industrial estate and is only about 20% cheaper

BMW now have the 4+ scheme which gives me something like 30% off parts and labour prices

Plus with my main dealer, if I want an M3/M5 or on one occasion a Z8 to test while they are looking at my car, it's no problem

Courtesy car - a new three series

The independents don't offer that (no car or a Micra)

Any more than they offer The Times, latte and croissants (it's Nuts and machine coffee)

The authorised dealer here appears to be ok (when I have taken the car in for servicing and other bits and pieces). IIRC it's a subsidiary of the Bluebell group so you don't get the "nice" showroom to sit.

I don't trust any of the other dealers and at £115 p/h labour.......

Do they?

Badged 'BMW?' with the BMW part number on it?

They sell a lot of stuff branded as 'OE quality'

Which is rather different ime
