It's completely variable as well, some cars are efficient and low revving at 80 and some at 50 etc. Of course, at the moment my car isn't polluting at all (it's parked in the car park ).

I drove quickly to work today, no doubt I was polluting more per minute than if I drove in slowly. However I was on the road for less time so have I polluted more or less????

I'd love to have an Ecco-lesson. I'll put the roof down, flick the AC on, and boot it everywhere. I think I could empty a tank in an hour 'lesson'.

More.

Braking is the problem; that's effectively throwing away fuel. So all they need to do is remove the things that make you slow down: middle-laners, speed cameras, roundabouts, cyclists...

Can't we cut emissions by digging a big pit & pushing all the eco-pimps into it?

It would save billions in useless wages too.

What a load of

How are we going to get rid of this Eco-Culture that's gaining serious momentum? Where are ths stoires on the BBC about people who don't believe all this Eco rubbish? What ever happened to balanced reporting, and giving us the facts and letting us decide what's relaly happening.

I'm proud of my MAHOOOSIVE carbon footprint & am doing my utmost to keep increasing it each day. The Eco retards can lick the sweat from my ball sack if they ever expect me to cowtow to this bollocks.

Looking forward to some new stealth taxes to squeeze the pennies out of us in the name of 'saving the planet'.

Except post-Hutton, they are simply Big Brown's propoganda organ.

And all those 'swampy' types now hold office in Transport 2000 and other quangos:

New car, caviar,
Four star daydream,
Think I'll buy me
A football team...

I'm doing plenty for my carbon whatsit.

I've loads weaved and covered in laquer on the car, and all the carbon I find I burn. Removing all trace of it.

I don't have a carbon 'footprint' as I drive everywhere.
