My cheque is cashed!
Well the insurance company has payed up and the money is in the bank. Let the shopping begin!
Now, sorry to disapoint but im not getting another S. I always think its nice to change cars if you can. So really its down to three choices and im struggling.
The only criterior is that it needs to be 14k, soft top and quick.
1st a boxster 2.7 or higish mile (60k) 3.2s.
2nd a TT 225
3rd a Z4
Now my fisrt choice is a Z4 but it seems there are 'i' and 'si' models with varying power outputs that are throwing up confusion. It seems im not getting much power unless its the latter. These are expensve. My consience wont spend that amount of money without getting over 200 horses in return.
The TT seems very good on paper, and you get a lot for your money now.
As its a turbo car iits tempting to go modding mad and get some serious power out of it. I hear its quite fun, but the looks of the roadster are'nt a patch on the coupe.
The boxster idea has me very lost! I have no idea if the running costs would put me in an early grave.
Any advise??

Boxster will be the best. However, check independants for servicing costs. Stay away from main dealers in this respect. Same goes for the other two.
Other cars to put in the mix
SLK
350z roadster
That Chrysler thing
Plenty of saloon based conv (saab, volvo, audi a4 etc. although these are all comfy open top cruisers rather than sports cars)

Don't get the TT, you can put all the power you like in it. The only difference it will make is how far into the field you end up.
