Default New Porsche Macan

Some interesting Audi disguise going on there.
This could be an ideal vehicle for me, wonder if the Cayenne will get a proper facelift to go with this?

Just what i was waiting for...another small SUV...
"Porsche Macan mules undergoing winter testing and disguised by a crafty Audi body-shell. " lol, it probably is an Audi in disguise.

"I wouldn't buy it with VW badges, but a Porsche's fine - I've more bread than sense." I really find this bodge-engineering a bit pathetic now. I know a girl with a tatty old Polo. I might blank off the grill & stick Zuffenhausen Coats of Arms all over it...

What's with the name - is CanAm copyrighted or is it about macadamia nuts?

lol, You mini SUV haters... I love em. will be in market for a new one next spring.
Heading down the company car route this time over buying/personal lease so will depend which are on this list. Right now it is BMW, VW and Audi, Range Rover not on yet and no Porsche. Will be interesting how this one turns out.

It just takes badge engineering to an expensive level.

I don't care if it's a CUV (actually) or a C-segment; the self-aggrandisement thing is risible.

Just as it was when BMC was offering identical Austin/Morrises to confuse everyone plus posh Riley & Wolseley versions with an upper-class twit-faced grille. The changes are a bit deeper now, but the concept is damaged beyond repair.

The most honestly-badged one was the VW-Porsche 914 or 6, ironically.

Reminds me of a line from "Once Upon a Time In Mexico"

Are you a Mexican, or a Mexican't
Or, is Mike Hunt in the building?

One of my clients (years ago) had that name.

A bit like Bart Simpson's "Hugh Jass" joke, it's backfired spectacularly...
