Never liked SEATs - the last one being a courtesy car. Diesels are out - the mileage and journeys covered renders them pointless. Swift has been dismissed as too small.

I have decided the answer is a day out testing possibles and then I can search for the car she wants in the right spec. Deep joy.

VW Polo - I think they do a 1.4 TFSI one.

If a Polo's too small, then a Golf?
