As every day transport Imprezas are great, I sold mine because it so easy to drive at mach 1 on every trip.

Come off the roundabout.... floor it
Away from the lights.....floor it
Round any bend........floor it

The experience mainly consists of flooring it and watching the petrol gauge fall

I saw my wife drive it like it was stolen while holding a conversation with me about her day and knew I should sell it or I'd be waving bye-bye to one of our licenses.

The best mod I did was have the car setup at TSL motor sport, I thought it drove well before, but the front wheels where toed in, the guys at TSL set the car up really well, general neutral, but would progressively slip in to oversteer if you kept the throttle nailed in the corners. I

Exactly the same experience with mine.

And on the license and wife driving stupidly quickly front!

A bit too capable for our roads was my lasting impression. There's no way you could safely feel like you were pushing the car on the road. That and the fortune I was spending on fuel!!!

Dunno, can't be arsed working out mpg!

I guess fuel was around 84p/ltr 4-5 years ago?

MY00 UK turbo used to be 280-320 miles a tank after remap (270bhp)
MY00 STi used to be 220-240 miles a tank after remap (320bhp)

Evo8 was 220 miles and cost about
