Default NSX

They seem to hold their value really well but I can't see why you can get a 2004 996 Carrrera 4S for

Supply and demand.

Don't think it's any more than that - look at the number of NSXs compared to the number og 996s.

996 turbo's are going for less money... crazy...

Has anyone actually dyno'd a standard NSX? Can't believe they are only 276bhp?

The area under the torque curve's important; peak power is to impress dicksplashes.

Also, less weight, excellent brakes and suspension make a good car, not big bhp.

Unlike the rest of the plebescite, I'd sooner have the NSX than the 996, on just about every level.

if the NSX had been better suited to track work, I would have had one by now.

There was simply too much to change to use it as a regular trackday car (and the thought of panel damage gave me the wobblies too).

supply and demand mostly, very few 3.2 face lifted manual cars around (less than 50 sold each year when they were for sale)

You could only fit a couple of kids in the back seat of one of them, but the 996 is so fugly.
