Default Oh god...its started again

Now that the schools are back...the nutters in they're diesel crates (all of whom are angry, apparently jealous and ultimately dangerous) are all back on the roads.

Its was so much nicer when they were in Tenerife

Why is everone in this country so angry ?

Shut up!!

Only joking and I can agree with you very word!

This morning I sent a text to my g/friend saying - careful on the roads the nutters are back!!

However Herts - Ricky / Watford / Hemel & Tring have had so many road works that I haven't really seen the benefit of the roads being quieter - d'oh!!

The main reason is this celebrity culture we have where everyone has to have the best of stuff. Only the succesful and the affluent can have this stuff, so the result is a very angry and resentful population.

Almost.

But we have false expectations from a school level. Dumbing down of grades (did I read 20% got grade A A-levels this time?) has made the vast majority believe they can be lawyers and doctors.

Consumer credit can create a facade of success.

....and we know that the vast majority clearly don't have the grammatical skills to complement their academic qualifications

I spent Friday afternoon last week interviewing a handful of potential trainees for our firm. You do see a much higher level of straight A grade students these days yet it is clear that they are not more able. For example, one very articulate applicant who went to a well known local private school failed to notice a number of spelling mistakes/typos in her application form
