Spent an hour in a queue yesterday on the way home as one lane was closed off. Turned out it was an accident and the old bill were on the scene.

A small hatchback with deployed airbags, a very crumpled front end and "Accident Repair Centre courtesy car" emblazened on the side.

I know it's wrong but it did make me chuckle...

Driver appeared to be ok but I can imagine how the conversation with her partner/the garage went....

 

Mustard mit, evert time I see one of those Micras, I stay away!

 

"There's good news and bad news honey. The good news is our airbags work..."

 

just keep away from Micras full stop!! Especially if they have steamed up windows

 

The other week I saw a national Express coach well alight on the M4, on the opposite carriageway, which was shut. Sitting at the head of the queue watching all this unfold was another, very full, National Express coach.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you could look out of the right window, you won't see an identicle vehicle to this burning to ash"

 

Hope they were playing that Divine Comedy track at the time...
