I just noticed I was quite disparaging about most of them. But then again, I wouldn't consider any/many of them.

The only cars that interest me at the moment are:

cooking focus
911 GT3/RS/RSR/CUP/GT2 (GT2 on the 997 only)
Post 355/550 Ferrari's
Aston BD4/5, AMV8 or DB9
BMW M5, M3 CSL
Audi RS4 Avant
Lotus Exige S/240
Hypercars

As my needs change, I'm sure things would be added or removed, but that's currently how it stands. I realise there's a slight lack of imagination in that list, but that's how it works for me.

Interestingly, whilst I would like a Z4 M Coupe, I can't see the point in it.

I know what I want.

M5 Touring. In black, with red leather. And the panoramic sunroof.

But

I got control, and said calmly to the guy next to me: "I'm coming in next lap, this is stupid." Next lap round, the F430 Spider that had been right behind me on the previous lap was in the aforementioned wall with all four corners mashed...
there is less room for error at spa - due to the gradients there are rather a lot of walls close to the track..

don't feel so bad binning my "simple" S2000 at Spa considering the metal that was bent on your day out.

They've added a lot of run-off to the new circuit. Not so keen on the Esses instead of the Bus Stop - I was looking forward to the classic chicane but that's gone.

Eau Rouge - Someone said you spend half the lap preparing for it, and the other half of the lap getting over the adrenaline rush of getting through it again! Did it at an indicated 100mph in the 350Z in the dry, awesome!

Charlie Whiting was there on the day, 1st hour of the track day was wasted while he inspected it for F1. I know he's so high and mighty and all that, but if you'd paid for a track day and Spa was hired totally by Goldtrack, I'd have found Mr Whiting and told him - most politely - to off and inspect the track on a day when there's no one there!
