Talking of kitcars, I really like the look of these.

I think the roof isn't much more than a shower cap though!

According to Graham Bell (here) - whom I trust to give an unbiased and informed review, it doesn't drive like it's nose heavy.

Not the car for me I feel, but it's an area of the kit market wide open - no-one does an AWD drivetrain and the low CofG should serve it well with no weight above shoulder height. Very chuckable with loads of traction and a very tunable engine which won't break the bank - it's a good idea and mechanically it makes sense.

Looks are of course subjective, but I agree they could have done a lot better and it's an area of the kit market that always saddens me - quite rightly, engineers design these cars, not aesthetes, but it would be nice to see cars that have been prettied up by talented designers before they were signed off (I'm hoping to remedy that to some extent with my Fury, but I may or may not succeed.....).
As a coupe, I agree, the 4WD Boxer works. Shame the SVX was a failure.

The layout's better than an inline four there, agreed; but my Mock-ster would be more fun!

Problem is with kit cars, they tend to borrow glazing from various other models.

You get those dreadful conflicting-angle pillars & door shuts as a result.

Having seen it at Donnington a couple of years ago I'd have to disagree - it's really clumsy from the A pillar rearwards, far too wide at the back and completely overdone.

Each to his own though.

One day people will realise that AWD can very easily be fun! Just in a different way

At the risk of taking a thread off topic, it might surprise you that I agree Mark

It will always come down to personal preference

And notwithstanding that awd can be fun (as can fwd), I'll always prefer rwd

The reason comes down to challenge

I find it more challenging to take a given corner at the same (higher) speed using rwd over any other format

Some other people don't, which is up to them

All depends how you define fun I suppose

Some people get it by accelerating in a straight line at Santa Pod

Off my radar, but not to say they are wrong

I enjoyed driving the couple of EVOs that went through my hands in the last year

But not enough to consider keeping them
