Owning a MINI
i googled gay mini

it's a real enigma i think, on the one hand reports suggest it's the best chassis on any 'hatch' on the other the image is so feminine . everything about it shouts 'girls car'.
i could never own one, much like a micra, mx5, 206CC, Puma, Tigra, Jazz etc they are 100% lady cars

IF SAAB/Spijker lasts that long...
It's also the coupe-like low build in the old Honda idiom that is important to the MINI's dynamics. And the zero overhangs. Most of its rivals are telephone kiosks and about as stable.
I have lost all interest in everyday high performance cars
can't really explain why
sort of happened overnight
but I have my classic 'investments'
and something wicked this way comes
(for high days and holidays)

roads are chokka down here as you know, so a really fast car was more a source of frustration than pleasure
I like my Merc for those trips...pop it into drive, seat warmers on and I doze the whole way home
Pulled out of the way of a fella in a lovely Maserati GrandTurismo yesterday (mainly to hear him roar by) and watched his frustration as he tried to get past an endless line of cement salesmen in their A4 diesels.
Luxobarge for the UK......... Toy for France. That's what I do.

In which case, maybe the SAAB 9^1 version might be advised.

Which is why I prefer thrashing little rice pudding de-skinners like the S2000 & NSX round the back lanes.
Good luck with the nuttermobile!
