Just seen this post on Pistonheads, the s2000 is a great car but some wally tried to take a guy on in a GT3
I am still at nod and smile. Have only had it a couple of months, so am still at the two hands on the wheel stage on the GT3 - if I should have waved to anyone : sorry, but I am getting there .
So far I have to echo the sentiments of others - mostly you get the very plesent situation of cars just jumping out of your way (from a healthily sensible distance - much appreciated as I don't like to crowd cars and would otherwise just sit behind them). The car gets a lot of attention from the modified hatchback brigade too, but all of it admiring and automotively courteous (fairly surprised by that actually). There was an S2000 who wasn't as fast as they thought they were the other day though (left them too it - save that for the track children ).

can't imagine there is any way that someone who owns an S wouldn't know what the GT3 is capable of!

)Mr L has always struck me a gent of the most discerning kind and of impeccable taste. If he's gone down that road, that would simply serve to reinforce that impression

(If, on the other hand, he has bought a 996, he's a heathen with no appreciation of "proper" Porsches and their air-cooled heritage!
)Fortunately, the forecast for the end of the week is a bit cooler, so hopefully it won't be such an issue by the time you collect it, Ian. As you know, it's obligatory to post pics of new acquisitions - don't be tardy in discharging this duty!
