Jamie...they had one of those at the garage today. Looks like a real beast, but I actually prefer the more subtle look of the 996 turbo.

I should lock this thread. It depresses me.

Buying it is easy - you demonstrated that!

Buying it without getting shafted on the p/x and spending money that is otherwise committed at present is not so easy, alas!

We're not all footloose, rolling-in-money men-about-town like you, Jamie!

Get yourself down to Stratstones then

Or:

Old school air cooled
911 C4 Celebration 3.6(1996 - K)

Same as mine but with PCM and parkassist
52 C4S

98 C2 - old possibly good only few years warranty left though

Plenty of them out there

That one at Autobahn has been there ages - I reckon it must have more miles on it than the Millennium Falcon.

Toyed with the idea of a 964, since they're quite a bit cheaper than 993s, but everything I have read about them suggest that they're considerably more "agricultural" than the 993, so I decided against it.

That 996 C4S is just a bit more than I want/am able to pay - but thanks anyway, Lee!
