Similar actually yes, it's basically the same unit with a much higher ratio diff, 4 spider gears and a reinforced casing.

It's not quite the same but it's similar. The diff is huge compared to the car ones, it's 5.85 ratio

Fingers crossed this solves most of the oil breather issues

Also hammered down the skidplates a bit because they were rather battered:

And still waiting on some stiffer rear springs to sort out it being far too softly sprung and bouncy - plus armfuls of massive understeer - so for now a temporary patch has been applied - slapped the rear secondary torsion bars on their soft setting and wound them all the way around so they're acting through the full travel as an auxiliary spring for now, see how that helps.

Well, as usual, back together at the 11th hour, no time for testing bar 5 minutes in the rain, so slap it on the trailer and straight to flat out racing tommorow and Sunday at Tong. What could go wrong, right?

Well unfortunately the mod to the baffles did nothing, no effect at all.

And that shiny new Elite plate diff shit itself, locked solid and killed the gearbox too. So gonna have to try to find a solution there, no idea what though, it's not a one off either we just heard another guy that got one did the same thing.

So, we only got a couple laps in before it was sit down and watch everyone else play for the day:
