Default The question to end all...

I have had 2 years of very happy motoring in my car but its now time to change as the milage is clocking up at an alarming rate... 50K in 2 years

I initially thought i would get another s (bermuda blue was calling my name) but after a visit to Aylesbury Honda i was told it would be 20 weeks delivery i thought i would try something else...

SO..

Whats next...

My budget is approx 50K and the Cayman s with lots of toys (and the turbo wheels) is top of the list, now i will miss the soft-top but i cannot think of anything else with similar performance that fits the bill within my budget.

Any ideas?

Prepare yourself to lose a shed-load when you come to sell if you do spec up a Cayman - mind you, without them, you might struggle to sell it on. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

If you want to keep the soft top, why not a 987 Boxster S? It's only a Cayman without the lid, after all.

50K would probably get you a 12 month old AMG SLK, wouldn't it?

Sagaris? They probably sub-

You could get a 997 Carrera for 50k but the one to have is the Carrera S which are still over 55k for a decent one.

You will take a bath on resale however you spec a new Cayman and you could have all manner of 911's for that.

987 Boxster S
911 996 C4S
911 996 GT3
911 996 Turbo

You could go for the subtle option of a bright yellow left hand drive V8 convertible

I took out a C2S yesterday. Extremely impressive. Beautifully sharp and responsive handling combined with excellent ride quality and serious grunt. You will have fun on Monday
