Default Red Light Cameras

Anyone care to share the information on these? Points/ Fine?

Heavy heavy rain, fogged up windscreen and a momentary lapse of concentration, i hold my hand up

Flashes went off, looked at my speedo, 19mph, then I realized what had just happened.

The insurance companies dont take too well to a TS10 ,

My wife got one 5 years or so ago , and i reckon it loaded the premiums about 30%

I know how you feel I was behind a lorry on a country road in crap weather the other night (motorway diversion) and did not see the red light till the last moment.

I had to go through, no choice I was doing 30 and was only about 10 yards away from the lights.

No flashes but I still felt terribly guilty, I hate breaking red lights and have only ever done it a couple of times.

I got a TS10 on a motorbike 31 years ago and the rules have changed a bit since then but I think a TS10 is 3 points not sure what the fine is.

I've never gone through a red light before, I'm not quite sure how it happened

There's a roundabout coming in to Glasgow that has 2 sets of traffic lights one after another. The further away set change before the ones in front of you when approaching from one side but they are thre set yo would naturally look at when waiting.

It is a pretty regular occurance to see people shoot off onto the roundabout while still on a red light simply because the set further round have changed.

I did it myself just after I first came up here luckily no camera though

Same happend to me a few years ago, a friend of ours was the head of the Met Police Traffic unit at the time so I gave him a call. When I explained the set of lights in question he said chances are they had no film........fortunatley he was right.

Down side is that these days more than likely they don't use film.
