Oh yes there were plenty of flies too, my bug sponge has been in action tonight.

4 black flags - I like your style you must have kept Ed busy with his little chats! I suspect you got held up quite a bit during the day, you must have been among the quickest out.

Are you sponsored by BaT, or is that a silly question?

Awwww thank you!

The whole race series is sponsored by BaT - it's the BookaTrack dot com Caterham Graduates Racing Club, to give it its posh name The other stickers on the car are also sponsors which I have to display.

I did get held up yeah, even in the morning when I was driving fairly slowly in comparison to the afternoon But to be fair that track suits something like the 7 whereas tracks with long straights don't really help! People were also pretty good about moving out of the way, although I got the impression the two Elises weren't too happy

Ed wasn't very happy with me, no, but all fine now

PS let me know if you do want to come racing, I might have spare tickets - not sure how many we get sent and my mum/dad are coming, but we usually get 3-4

Two other products that might be worth trying but will strip off the wax as they are strog, are Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner or Meguairs Body Solvent. They are professional products and come in 1US gallon tubs but I think you might get through them. If you like I bring a sample of them to the meet for you to try.

I was thinking of some Spray wax (NXT?) that Meg's do, because it's cheap and not very good.

But 1. You'll be re-doing it every meet, like you say., and 2. It's a racing car, not a Bugatti in the Schlumpf collection.

Found the best way to do it was just a wash to get the worst off, then Autoglym Red polish - most of the splats are actually on the decals (at least they show up more there, the car is dark), so I don't think things like white spirit would have done much good!
