i never wanted a mclaren, but 'we' ended up with one .

jesus.

i'm actually no longer a forest fan now, i've been loaned to the gooners on the basis of ireconcilable differences (because like forest they play pretty football but haven't won owt for years)

Dan.. i've actually found a tip alternative thanks to my new gardener.. it's called rhino bag and it's like one of those bags you buy from wickes which gets spirited away for £30.

Ok.. Sat in lots

Seat low rent
Renault flimsy
Scirrocco v nice but £££

Drove a civic type r, it was shit imo

Bought a Golf GT turbo D.. Very bland looking but full leather and should be reliable

The CSL will have to wait

They map very well but watch out for Dualmass flywheel issues and sticky turbo vanes. Handling can be made almost fun with decent ARB front and back. Also watch out for collapsed top mounts.

Oh and check the cambelt / water pump has been done.

"want something sporty looking and quick and frugal and a bit interes...oh it's ok I bought a golf"

Ultimately, though, it's a good choice...

Best of luck with it.

Never owned one before Nick so we will see. It was a much better drive than FN2 civic, better steering, damping and box. MUCH nicer interior than seat and ford. Not French. I didnt seem to have many suitable options when it cut to it.
