20mph speed limits on the Nordschliefe, road tits elsewhere, surface dressing and a set of temporary traffic lights there permanently.
The residents would complain about the noise, there's be an equal opportunties programme for Hyundai Accent owners, it'd be relocated into the centre of London, would lose money and be run by f ucking Swampy with a c unting Bus Lane on Sundays...

Awesome! The only thing you missed is how the 2012 Olympics would be involved and that in 2016 it would host the British Grand Prix...right upto 2016 when it'd go back to Silverstone.
Latest news on the ring is that the Industry Motor Pool, where the manufacturers test new models, have lost several clients. Mercedes, Aston Martin and Pirelli have all pulled out and will no longer be test there this year. Due to a massive price hike.
There is a potential upside from this, as they possibly make more money from TF, therefore may be opening more for TF.
Also, the latest rumour is that bikes are going to be banned this year. Unconfirmed at this point however.

Banning bikes on TF days has got to happen. They should have their own ones.
IIRC most of the manufacturers test during the day, hence why most TF sessions are wheekdays from 6-8 pm ish.
It would be nice if they opened it up more during the day especially for us tourists.
Imagine being a local herman with the Ring being open all day though. "i'm just popping out for a hour on the Ring!"

Perhaps opening it up more will lead to more deaths. This may bring unnecessary attention to the place.

can't beat hammering the Ring
