Was watching this earlier, and didn't realise it ended terminally until I saw this thread.
Such a shame in every respect.

Recorded this earlier today and was just sitting down to enjoy the race.

I can't believe Marco S has passed away, and under such trajic circumstances.

A tremendous talent and personality, who's had his critics this season but who represented everything this (in contrast to F1) is entertaining about MotoGP (exciting racing, entertaining personalities, and very little PC).

A tremendous loss to his family and friends, and the MotoGP paddock.

RIP Marco.

I too think that Val Rossi will now retire forthwith.

What with the death of Dan Wheldon; a trajic few days for everyone involved with motorsport

Nothing to add that hasn't already been said.

RIP Marco.

Tragic loss to an awesome and exciting rider with a massive personality
I heard it was Rossi that knocked his helmet off.
I think also the end for Edwards.
A tragic loss to moto gp.

As all of the above. I watched this race on the TV this morning and saw the accident as it happened. You just new there wasn't going to be a good outcome.

Sad
