S2000 Sold
Nice one Dave.
You are one of the guys who made S2ki the great place it is.
I'll never forget our first meet, which was a Blurtermeet - flying along Buttertubs pass, amazed at how fast these cars could go (even with a suspension spacer in the front spring
) fantastic scenery, great company and lots of fun.
I'll be interested to read your running report of the BM over the coming months.
Hope to see you soon at a Blurter or NE meet (S-L-O-W of course
) enjoy the new car

BTW I completely understand the trade-in thing. I think the only way I'll ever part with my S2000 is if I can just go and swap it for another car that I want.
The one time I tried to sell mine privately I couldn't do it

I can't understand why you got the M Dave, you're not going to get over 40 anyway
Anyway, I really love the car, you're making me have second thoughts about getting an M3 and going for one of those.
Dan, the seats do look better in the flesh. Not practical for a lazy person like me, but nice to look at.
Dave, one thing I've noticed, having the darker carbon effect or whatever it is dash panel makes the cockpit a lot nicer than the usual aluminium effect panel across the middle of the dash. I also loved the low slung driving position.
Enjoy, as I know you will

Nice choice of replacement too. I looked at these before I bought the 911 which was just as they were released, great car.
Nearly Rosso Corsa too is that so the next replacement will blend in

Stick around Dave it'll be good to see you again. All the best and I look forward to reading your thoughts on it.
Very nice Dave, there's something almost intimidating about that engine shot
Are these rarer than the coupe? I can only remember seeing one on the road but I've seen quite a few of the coupes. Or am I just not paying attention?

It's hard to picture you in anything other than your S2000 Dave, but having seen your Z4 last night it's a perfect alternative to another S. The design of the Z4 has matured very well to my eyes and I can understand you wanting to try something different, as you have with all your cars over the years.
You must carry on coming to the NW meets, and I look forward to more of your epic travelogues featuring the new car
Whoever buys your S2000 will get a good 'un.
