A bit haphazard? Shipley, you should have followed a career with the Diplomatic Corps!

It was dated even when the 993 was introduced (mainly because Porsche didn't bother to change it from the outgoing 964 model), and you've got to love the ergonomics of a design that means (at least with where my seat is set) you can't see the speedo needle once it passes around 85 as it's hidden behind the rim of the steering wheel!

(For all that, I love mine and will be very sorry to see it go in a few months time )
Mark, keep it then. If you really want to you would be able to find the cash, lawyers are well off. I know my Brother is one

I'm no reviewer but was left with the feeling that this car inspired such confidence that it would never be unsettled, whatever the weather, and could blow anything off the road.
That completely defeats the object of a sports car for me, especially when part of the appeal of a 911 is meant to be the different technique required

And that's why I said if I had to have one car..it would be one of them.

I know what you mean - I drive the S like I stole it, any gap I'm in it, I try to drift it whenever I get the chance and make no friends.

When I'm in my Merc, I ooze everywhere etc. etc.

I like the differences.
