cheers everyone.

blimey, the mitsi colts have changed in looks in the last few years.
suzuki swifts, will have to hunt for those.
polo gti looks good, but thought I'd be paying a premium over ibiza..
want her to stay away from french, reckon she'll wrap a 172, but the jap small cars really arn't that common or inspiring.
yeah, I was thinking mr2, but I bet I'd have to trawl for a good un.

will let you know what she gets.

I reckon the Lupo GTI would be brilliant fun - kind of like a quick rollerskate?

Suzi Swift - That was the one James May said was really, really good & the others laughed at him.

Always liked their Imp-like slant 4 engine, even if it was bolted in some dire stuff.

The Lupo GTI's are great cars, and have been compared to the original Golf GTI by the motoring press. However VW did ditch it from their range because it was too expensive to build, which can mean expensive servicing/repair costs. Maybe Robintegra can confirm/deny this.

5k can just about get you a MX-5 (the last shape), but they will be higher milers around the S or T plate...................and they did it in blue

Probably means a properly-engineered Wolfsburg car & not a cheapo Mexican one like the Fox, though.
